About the company
Thousand Voyages Ltd. is an adventure travel company based in Bulgaria (EU). Registered in 2015 (registration number PK-01-7385) by Pavel Gospodinov, a traveler, enthusiastic photographer, and tour guide, we organize trips for small groups (6–10 people) to unusual, remote destinations where mass tourism is still in its infancy or nonexistent. The company carries the liability insurance required by both Bulgarian and EU legislation.
Where we have traveled
Through Thousand Voyages, the travel company Pavel founded a decade ago, we have guided groups to 41 countries. Here's the breakdown:

Our Travel Philosophy
Our small groups travel at a leisurely pace, allowing ample time to immerse ourselves in local cultures. We believe this approach fosters genuine connections and authentic experiences. We seek out places often overlooked by tourists, offering unique insights into local cultures and ways of life.
We focus on exploring local cultures, lifestyles, and meeting people. Our visits to monuments, museums, and archaeological sites provide context and deepen our understanding of each region. Our tours embody Pavel's personal travel philosophy—connecting with locals, exploring areas in depth, and taking time to truly experience each place.
Our team
Our team is small but close-knit, sharing common interests that make our work effortless. We work for pleasure—and this is the key to our success. Pavel leads Thousand Voyages as owner, manager, and guide. Our team includes a digital marketing specialist, several expert guides who lead groups in their specialized destinations, a travel booking coordinator, and an accountant. Scheduled tours
At Thousand Voyages, we organize scheduled tours that handle all travel logistics (accommodation, transportation) and documentation (visas and travel documents). Each tour includes a brief description, essential details—price, group size, dates—plus a map of the itinerary and a detailed program.
Private guided tours
Our agency offers private guided tours around the world. You will receive a package price from us in advance, which includes the services of a professionally qualified tour leader, pick-up and drop-off from your hotel or accommodation, transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle, fuel and parking costs, accommodation, transfers to and from the airport, and any other additional services you may require.
